Section 59: Forest produce, tools, etc. liable to confiscation

The Odisha Forest Act, 1972.State Act of Odisha · Act 14 of 1972

(1) All timber or forest produce which is not the property of Government and in respect of which a forest offence has been committed, and all tools ropes, chains, boats, vehicles and cattle used in committing the forest offence, shall be liable to confiscation 2[unless an order of confiscation has already been passed in respect thereof under Section 56.]

(2) Such confiscation may be in addition to any other punishment provided for such offence.
