Section 8: Vacancies to be filled up expeditiously and proceedings not to be invalidated in certain cases

When a member dies or resigns as provided in Section 5, or subject to any of the disqualifications specified in Section 6 or is removed by the State Government under Sub-section (1) of Section 7, he shall cease to be a member of the Board and any vacancy occurring hereby shall be filled up by the State Government expeditiously :

Provided that no act or proceedings of the Board shall be invalidated merely by reason of any vacancy in its membership on account of death, resignation or removal or any defect in the manner of appointment of a member to or the constitution of the Board.
