Oil Industry (Development) Board Employees (Leave) Rules, 1984.Central Rules · 1974

Leave cannot be claimed as of right. When the exigencies of service in the Board so require leave of any kind may be refused or revoked by the authority competent to grant it, but it shall not be open to that authority to alter the kind of leave due and applied for except at the written request of the employee.

NOTE – The provision of this rule shall, however, not be interpreted in such a way as to abridge the leave entitlement of the employees and as far as possible, employees shall be encouraged to take leave regularly at intervals.
