Section 37: Production and inspection of election papers

(1) The packets of ballot papers, whether valid or rejected, and their counterfoils and the packets containing the lists of electors marked in accordance with rule 14 shall not be opened, nor shall their contents be inspected by, or produced before, any person or authority, except under the order of the Supreme Court or other competent court.

(2) All other papers relating to the election shall be open to public inspection subject to such conditions and to the payment of such fee, if any, as the Election Commission may direct.
