(1) All Child Care Institutions shall be open to visitors with the permission of the Board or the Committee or the Person-in-charge, who may allow voluntary organisations, Social Workers, Researchers, Doctors, Academicians, and such other persons as the Management Committee may permit or consider appropriate keeping in view the security, welfare and the interest of the children.
(2) Where permission referred to in sub-rule(1) is given by the Person-in-charge, he shall make a monthly report of such permission including the orders received from the Board or the Committee to the Union territory of Puducherry Child Protection Society and also to the Board or the Committee, as the case may be.

(3) The Person-in-charge of the Child Care institution shall encourage active involvement of the local community and corporates in improving the condition in the institution or support the child.
(4) The Person-in-charge shall maintain a visitors' book to record the remarks of the visitors.
(5) The Person-in-charge shall take all steps to inform the visitors to maintain the dignity of children.
