The Puducherry Relief from Indebtedness Act, 1987Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 7 of 1989

(1) The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, constitute for, such area as may be specified therein a Tribunal for the purpose of performing the functions of a Tribunal under this Act.

(2) A Tribunal shall consist of a sole member who shall be an officer not below the rank of Deputy Tahsildar appointed by the Government.
