Section 6

The Puducherry Relief from Indebtedness Act, 1987Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 7 of 1989

(1) The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint for such area as may be specified therein an appellate authority for the purposes of this Act.

(2) An appellate authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Deputy Collector.
