Section 22: Power of Town Vending Committee for temporary association of expert persons

Puducherry Street Vendors (Protection of livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Rules, 2017Central Rules · 2014

(!) Subject to the provisions of the Act, a Town Vending Committee may associate any suitable person of repute having adequate knowledge and experience in the field, as expert to obtain technical or professional advice on matters relating to the street vendors.

(2) The persons to be associated as expert under sub-rule (I) shall be selected in a fair and transparent manner and by following the procedure for engagement of consultants and experts as technical or professional experts in Government Departments.

(3) The persons associated as expert under sub-rule (1) shall be paid allowances as determined by the Local Authority.
