Section 4: Time and place of meeting of the Authority and its procedure

(1) The meeting of the Authority shall ordinarily be held once in every three months in a financial year within the State of Punjab.

(2) A special meeting of the Authority, if deemed necessary, shall be called by the Chairperson at any time after giving reasonable notice.

(3) The agenda items of meeting of the Authority shall be decided by the Chairperson and intimated to the members of the authority by the Registrar, in writing, well in advance of the date fixed for the meeting. However, any other item can be discussed with the permission of the Chair.

(4) Every meeting of the Authority shall be presided over by the Chairperson or in his absence due to any unavoidable reason the Chairperson shall nominate a member of the Authority to preside over that meeting.

(5) All issues which come up before any meeting of the Authority shall be decided by a majority of the members present.

(6) A copy of the minutes of each meeting of the Authority, whether ordinary or special, shall be submitted by the Registrar to the members of the Authority.
