Section 212: Cessation of membership

Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers ( (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008.) Rules, 2008State Rules of Punjab · 1996

If any member of the State Advisory Committee, not being an ex-officio member, fails to attend three consecutive meetings without obtaining the leave of the Chairperson of the said Committee for such absence, he shall cease to be a member of the said Committee:

Provided that the State Government may, if it is satisfied that such member was prevented by sufficient cause from attending three consecutive meetings, direct that such cessation shall not take place and in that event, such member shall continue to be a member of the said Committee.
