Section 213: Disqualification for membership

Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers ( (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008.) Rules, 2008State Rules of Punjab · 1996

(1) A person shall be disqualified for being a member of the State Advisory Committee, if—

(i) he is of unsound mind; or

(ii) he is an un-discharged insolvent; or

(iii) he has been convicted of an offence which, in the opinion of the State Government, involves moral turpitude.

(2) Where a question arises as to whether a disqualification has been incurred under sub-rule (1) or not, the State Government shall decide the same.
