The Punjab Homoeopathic Practitioners Act, 1965State Act of Punjab · Act 16 of 1965

(1) Save as otherwise provided, the term of office of elected and nominated members shall be five years commencing from the date on which the first meeting of the Council is held after the members ~lre elected under sub•section (3) of section 3 :

Provided that the term of office of members nominated to the first CouncH shall be three years from the date on which the first meeting of such Council is held.

(2) An outgoing member shall continue in office until the election or nomination of his succes­ sor as the case may be.

(3) The outgoing members shall be eligible fo!'
