The Lovely Professional University Act, 2005State Act of Punjab · Act 25 of 2005

(1) The President shall be the Chancellor ofthe University and in the absence ofthe Visitor, the Chancellor shall pre§ide over the convocation of the University. ,

(2) The Chancellor shall be the Chairman ofthe Governing Council and he shall decide or approve. all appointments, nominations, removals, suspensions and reinstatements of the University either suo moto or as ' reeommended by the concerned authority ofthe University from time to time.

(3) The Chancellor may'amend or revoke any decision taken by any authority or ofilcers of the University, and may exercise his powers either suo moto or otherwise to do. all necessary things to facilitate the smooth fimctioning ofthe Univereity. '

(4) The’ Chancellor shallhave the power to'do all such other Acts, as may be required to further the objects of the University and the decisions taken by the Chancellor, shall be final and binding on all concerned of the University.
