The Lovely Professional University Act, 2005State Act of Punjab · Act 25 of 2005

(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the University on such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed.

(2) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the Principal Administrator and Academic Officer of the University.

(3) The Vice-Chancellor shall preside over the convocation in the absence of the Visitor and the Chancellor.

(4) The Vice-Chancellor shall exercise the general superintendence and control over the affairs of the University.

(5) The Vice-Chancellor shall-exercise such powers and perform such duties, as may be prescribed.
