Section 34: Drawing of money from fund

(l)All petty payments up to nipees ten thousand shall be made in cash out of imprest only.

(2) Whenever money up to rupees ten thousa'nd is required to repler1ish' the cash chest, it shall be drawn by the drawing and disbursing officer from the account of the Fund by means of a cheque in favour of 'Self' subject to the1 extent specified in in sub-rule (3) of rule 3 7. Reference to cheque number an~ date shall be quoted on the voucher so as to avoid double entry.
