Section 93: Number plates

The Punjab Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads Finance, Budget and Accounts Rules, 2014State Rules of Punjab · 1994

(l) All vehicles of the :Panchayat Samitis and ·the Zi la Parish ads shall, in addition to the number plate, exhibit plates in front and at the rear _indicating the name of the Panchayat Samiti or the Zila Parishad to which they have been allotted.

Sections 143, 193 94. Record of vehicles.-ln respect of each vehicle, the Controlling Officer and 225 shall be responsible for the maintenance of,-

(a) Particulars of each vehicle in Form FBA-39;

(b) a log book in Form. FBA-40;

( c) a register in Form FBA -41 showing cost of repairs etc:, carried out;

(d) a register of petrol and"diesel etc. in Form FBA;-42; and \

(e) An inventory of equipment in Form FBA-43.

Sec1ions 143, 193 95. Precautions in respect of consuinption of Petrol/Diesel/Oil.- (I) and 22S The peti-ol, diesel or power Jin~ tanks of vehicles shall be fitted with locks and the keys thereof shall be kept in the possession of the Controlling Officer or I . .

(2) The log-book sJall be examined and signed by a resi>on~ible officer at the close of each month showing the total fuel and oil consumed during the month, the total distance covered and the average kilometers of per liter of· fuel or oil consumed. It shall then be put up to the Controlling Officer, who PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA),JANUARY9,2014 97 (PAUSA 19, 1935 SAKA) shall examine and satisfy himself that the average cbnsumption offuel and oil is reasonable, and countersign it. If the consumptibn of fuel or oil is high, he shall take immediate steps to look into the causes and take su itable steps.
