Section 97: Testing and servicing of Vehicles

The Punjab Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads Finance, Budget and Accounts Rules, 2014State Rules of Punjab · 1994

{ I) The Controlling Officer shall Sections 143. 193 and 225 have each vehicle rested every year regarding fitness for journeys· and place a report on record .

(2) He shall also submit a half yearly report, to the Panchaya1 Samiti or the Zila Parishad, as th·ecasc may be, about the kilometers run and the expenditure incurre<f OIJ. the maintenance of each vehicle .

(3) Each vehicle shall h<: serviced and lubricated as per nom1s prescribed in service book of vehicle or earlier only with the permission of the Panchayat • Samiti or the Zila Parishad, as the case may be.

( 4) The place where rhe vehicle shall be taken for service or lubrication or" repair shall be decided by the Executive Office-r or the Chief Executive Of]icer qf the Panchayat Samiti or. the Zila Parishad, as the .¢'ase may be.
