Section 12: Seniority of mem hers of Service

The Punjab Panchayat Secretaries (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2013State Rules of Punjab · 1994

( I) The seniority of the members of Service shall be determined on the basis oflength of their continous service in the cadre:

Provided that in the case of a member whose period of probation is extended under these rules, the date of appointment for the purpose of this rule shall be deemed to have been deferred to the extent the period of probation is extended.

(2) Other provisions relating to the seniority provided in Appendix 'D' shall be applicable in so for as, they are in consonance with the aforesaid provisions.
