Section 6: Honoraria and allowances of the members of the Board

The Punjab Prisons Development Board Rules, 2020.State Rules of Punjab · 2020

(1) All Non-official members of the Board shall be entitled to reimbursement of actual amount incurred for the journeys performed in economy class of air travel; or executive class by train or equivalent. In addition, non-official members would be entitled for sitting fee @ Rs. 5000/- per meeting attended for the purpose of the Board, its committees and/or sub-committees.

(2) Official members shall not be entitled for any fee or allowance.

(3) No journey shall be performed by any officer of the Board or any nonofficial member for the purpose of the Board outside the State without the prior approval of the Member-Secretary.
