Section 8: Secretarial facilities

The Salary and Allowances of Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly Rules, 1979State Rules of Punjab · 1978

The Leader of the Opposition shall be entitled to the following secretarial assistance:- ( I) One Private Secretary:

(2) One Personal Assistant;

(3) One Clerk;

(4) One Jamadar; and

(5) Two Peons.

,. Conveyance allowance.- The Conveyance allowance admissible to the Leader of the Opposition under sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Act shall be paid to him on the production of a certificate in the form appended to these rules.

)6. Interpretation.-- If any question arises as to the interpretation of these rules, it shall be referred to the State Government for decision.
