Section 4: Termination of Service

Service Regulations 1993State Regulations of Punjab · 1978

The services of an officer or employee of the Corporation may be terminated by the appointing authority on the following grounds :-

(a) in the case of an officer or an employee who has been confirmed, by giving three months' notice on either side, or pay in lieu thereof, for the period the notice falls short of three months ;

(b) in the case of an officer or an employee who has not been confirmed by giving one month's notice on either side, or pay in lieu thereof, for the period the notice falls short of one month; and

(c) in the case of an officer or employee on deputation by reverting him to the Government or other Corporation or organization from which he was taken on deputation.
