(1) The Governor of Punjab shall be the Visto of the University
(2), The Visitor shall preside over the convocation of the University or conferring degrees and diplomas
(3). The Visitor shall have the right to call for any information relating othe affaits ofthe University
(4). The Visitor, in consultation with the Chancellor, may eause the inspection, senutiny, investigation, survey oF inguiry or any oer such ike thingo be made by such person, ashe may direct in respect of administrative, academic or executive matters ofthe University.
(5). The Visitor shal, in every ese, give notice tothe University of hisintention to caus the inspection, sentiny investigation, survey or inquiry fr any other such like thing to be made and the University shall apoiot representative, who shall be present at such inspestion, seratny, investigation, survey of inguity oF any othe such lke thing, a the ease may be
(6). (7), The Vice-Chancellor shall inform the Visitor about the action taken ‘or propose tobe aken by the University wih respect othe inspection, extn, investigation, survey, inquiry. erany othe such ike thing, as the ease may be,
(8) Ifthe State Government considers it appropriate, in pubic imerest tomake inspection, scrutiny, investigation, survey or inquiry asthe case may bbeinrespect of any matter relating to the University or its institutions, a reference shall be mae by the State Government to the Visitor. who shall consultation withthe Chancellor, ease sich inspection, serutiny investigation, survey or inquiry, to be made
