Section 4: Composition and Strength of Service

Rajasthan Ground Water Service Rules,1973State Act of Rajasthan · Act 1973 of 2023

(1) The Service shall consist of three wings, namely:

(i) Drilling Wing;

(ii) Blasting and Workshop Wing; and

(iii) Research and Survey Wing.

(2) The nature of posts in each Wing of the Service shall be as specified in Column 2 of the Schedule.

(3) The strength of posts in each Wing of the Service shall be such as may be determined by the Government from time to time:

Provided that:-

(i) the Government may create any post, permanent or temporary, from time to time, as may be found necessary and may abolish any such post in the like manner without thereby entitling any person to any compensation;

(ii) the Appointing Authority may leave unfilled or hold in abeyance or allow to lapse any post, permanent or temporary, from time to time, without thereby entitling any person to any compensation.
