Section 41: Power of the State Governm ent to inspect the University

The Jodhpur National University, Jodhpur Act,2009State Act of Rajasthan · Act 6 of 2009

(1) For the purpose o f ascertaining the standards o f teaching, exam ination and research or any other m atter relating to the University, the State Governm ent may cause an inspection , to be m ade in such m anner as may be prescribed , by such person or persons as it may deem fit.

(2) The State Government shall communicate to the U niversity its recommendations in regard to the result o f such inspection for corrective action .

The University shall adopt such corrective measures and m ake efforts so as ensure the compliance o f the recom mendations.

(3) I f the University has failed to comply w ith the recom m endations made under sub-section (2) within a reasonable time, the State Governm ent may give such directions as it may deem fit for such compliance.
