Section 42: Powers of the State Governm ent to call for inform ation

The Jodhpur National University, Jodhpur Act,2009State Act of Rajasthan · Act 6 of 2009

(1) The State Government may call for information from the University relating to its working , functions, achievements, standard o f teaching , exam ination and research or any other m atters as it may consider necessary to judge the efficiency o f the University in such from and within such time as may be prescribed by rules .

(2) The University shall be bound to furnish the inform ation as required by the State Governm ent under sub-section (1) w ithin the prescribed time.
