(a) A Patwari shall be appointed to each circle.

(c) Collectors [or Colonisation Commissioner] shall send requisition for the post of Patwaries to the Secretary' (Land Records), Board of Revenue. The Board of Revenue shall consolidate the requisition received and sent same to the Rajasthan subordinate and Ministerial Service Selection Boar. The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Sevice Selection Board shall advertise the vacancies for selection on the post of patwari.” [(cc) The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Service Selection Board shall prepare the list of the selected candidates and declare the result and send the same to the Board of Revenue. The Board of Revenue shall prepare department and district-wise merit list of selected candidates subject to the availability of vacancies. The list so prepare by the Board of Revenue. Shall be sent to the Collector concerned and Colonization Commissioner for appointment. The appointment shall be given as probationer trainee for two years. After appointment the selected candidates as probationer trainee send them to the patwar Training School throught the Director, Revenue Research and Trainning Institute for admission. The Revenue Research and Training Institute shall conduct division-wise training for probationer trainees under the supervision/direction of the Board of Revenue in the Patwar training School. The Revenue Research and Training Institute shall also arrange temporary patwar Training Schools.” The Collector or the Colonization Commissioner, as the case may be, shall select the candidates and prepare merit list of the selected candidates. After appointing the selected candidates as probationer trainee for period of two years, send them to the Board for making admission to the Patwar Training School.]

(e) No Patwari shall be posted to a circle which includes his home village or in which he or his nearest relations hold some immovable property lands for cultivation.
(f) (i) Except as otherwise provided in sub-clause (ii), the service of a temporary' Government servant shall be liable to termination at any time by a notice in writing given either by the Patwari to the appointing authority or by the appointing authority to the Patwari. The period of such notice shall be one month unless otherwise agreed to by the appointing authority and by the Patwari:
Provided that service of such Patwari may be terminated forthwith by payment to him or a sum equivalent to the amount, of his pay for the period of notice or as the case may be for the period by which such notice falls short of the month or by any longer period. The payment of allowances shall be subject, to the condition under which such allowances are admissible.
(ii) The service of a temporary Patwari:-
(a) Who has been in continuous Government service for more than three years:
Provided that termination of service consequent on reduction of posts in a cadre under the appointing authority shall take place in order of juniority.
