Section 13: Term of office

Rajasthan Land Revenue (Qualifications and Conditions of Service of Chairman & Members of the Board) Rules, 1971State Rules of Rajasthan · 1956

(1) The Chairman or a Member other than from advocates, shall hold office till he continues be the Chairman or a member.

(2) A member appointed under rule 7 from the Advocates shall hold office for four years or till he attains the age of 60 years, whichever is earlier.

(3) The Chairman or a member other than from advocates shall continue to be a member of their parent service till the date of his superannuation in that service.

(4) A member appointed from the Advocates may,-

(a) by writing under his hand address to the Governor, resign his office;

(b) be removed from his office by the Governor, if he-

(i) is adjudged an insolvent;

(ii) engages during his term of office in any paid employment outside the duties of his office;

(iii) is in the opinion of the Government, unfit to continue in office by reason of infirmity of mind or body: or

(iv) is found guilty of misconduct.
