In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires:—
(a) “Act” means the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1956;
(b) “Pass” means the “Identity-Cum-Road Journey Pass” issued under rule 3;
(c) *“Ex-Member” means a person who is a recipient of or is entitled to pension under section 4-A of the Act;
@(cc) Family Pensioner means the spouse of a deceased Ex Member and who is entitled to receive Family Pension under Section 4c of the Act.
(d) “Principal Secretary” means the Principal Secretary, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and includes any officer of the said Assembly and specially empowered by the Speaker to perform the functions of the Secretary under these rules;
(e) “Service Bus” includes all kind of buses run by Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation or buses run on contract basis;

(f) “State Roadways” means the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation Service.
3. Ex-Member and Family Pensioner entitled to travel on passes.
—Subject to the provisions of these rules, every *Ex-member and Family pensioner shall be provided by the Principal Secretary with Two free non-transferable passes in the form given in Appendix-AA which shall entitle him and any other person accompanying him to travel at any time free of charge by the service buses of the State Roadways and on any route on which the State Roadways operate.
4. @Ex-member entitted to travel on passes– Be each year, every ex-members shall be supplied by the secretary Four books containing @ex-member and his attendant’s Bus Journey Form’s with the foils in Appendix-BB. Each book shall contain 50 serial numbers and until one book is exhausted the ex-member shall not use the another book and at the end of every year the ex-member shall return the books to the Secretary and until the books are returned as aforesaid the Secretary shall not issue new book for the next year.
"4.A Family Pensioner Entitled to travel on Passes:- In each year, every family pensioner shall be supplied by the Principal secretary two books containing family Pensioner's and his attendant's Bus Journey Form's with the foils in Appendix-BB. Each book shall contain 50 serial numbers and until one book is exhausted the family pensioner shall not use the another book and at the end of every year the family pensioner shall return the books to the Principal Secretary and until the books are returned as aforesaid, the Secretary shall not issue new book for the next year."
