Section 5: Procedure for journey

(1) On the commencement of a journey, the member shall fill in the form and the foils thereof and hand over the form to the Conductor of the bus. The Conductor shall thereon fill in the amount of fare chargeable for the journey on the foil with the member. A separate form shall be used for each separate journey and in case of change of buses, separate form shall be used for each journey by different buses.

(2) A member shall, on demand by the Conductor or any other officer of the State Road Transport Corporation, duly authorised in that behalf, produce the Pass for inspection.

(3) A member and any other person accompanying the member may travel in any class, wherever there is more than one class of accommodation in service buses.

(4) A member and any other person accompanying the member wishing to reserve his seat may do so on payment of the charges for reservation.
