Section 2: Definitions

The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Officer's (Furnishing and Maintenance of Residence) Rules, 2006 and (Amendment) Rules, 2019State Rules of Rajasthan · 1957

In these rules, unless the subject or context otherwise requires;

(a) “Act” means the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act No. 6 of 1957);

(b) “Official residence” means a building set apart or allotted by the Government for the residence of the said officers; and

(c) Words and expression used but not defined in these rules, shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Act.
