Section 4: Furniture facilities and maintenance

The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Officer's (Furnishing and Maintenance of Residence) Rules, 2006 and (Amendment) Rules, 2019State Rules of Rajasthan · 1957

When a builing is earmarked or allotted as an official residence of the Speaker, the Deputy speaker, the Government Chief Whip, the Deputy Government Chief Whip and the Leader of the Opposition, the expenditure to be incurred on the initial furnishing thereof shall be limited to the amount equivalent to the expenditure permissible for a minister's official residence under the Rajasthan Ministers Official Residences (Use and Maintenance) Rules, 1966 or the amount mentioned hereunder, whichever is higher:-

(i) the Speaker Rupees six lakh

(ii) the Deputy Speaker Rupees five lakh

(iii) the Government Chief Whip Rupees five lakh

(iv) the Deputy Government Chief Whip Rupees five lakh

(v) the Leader of the Opposition Rupees five lakh By Order of the Governor, (Vinod kumar) Secretary to the Government @Sub. by Notification No.F7(2) Sansad/2019 dated 7 Nov, 2019 w.e.f. 1st April, 2019
