Section 7: Appointing Authority

The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1992State Rules of Rajasthan · 1950

(1) Appointments to the posts of Secretary and Special Secretary shall be made by the Speaker with the approval of the Governor.

(2) All appointments to posts other than those of Secretary and Special Secretary shall bz made by the Speaker:

Provided that the Speaker may, by general or spxcial order, delegate to the Secretary or any other officer of the Secretariat his power to make appointments to any post or class of posts specified in such order, being post others than gazetted posts.
