Section 8: Probation

(1) Every pzrson appointed to a permanent post by direct recruitment with a view to his eventual substantive appointment to that post, shall be on probation for a period of two years :

Provided that the Speaker or the Secretary may, by order, extend the period of probation for not more than one year in the case of any petson appointed by him to any post.

(2) Tn the event of probationer work being not found satisfacto™y during the probation period or extenced probation period, his services shall be terminated.
