Section 65: General principle

Rajasthan Municipalities Accounts Rules 1963State Rules of Rajasthan · 2009

All money received or spent by or on behalf of the Board by any Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Member, Officer or any servant of the Board in his official capacity shall be immediately and without any reservation brought to account in the general case book (form 34) under the direct supervision of the Executive Officer. In no case shall a person compiling the Municipal accounts or any portion thereof collect or receive any moneys on behalf of the Board.

Note. - This is the fundamental rule on which all the accounts at the Municipal office are based and no departure from it can in any circumstances be permitted.
