Section 2: Repeal of the Rajasthan Ordinance No. 10 of 2008

(1)The Rajasthan Municipalities Ordinance, 2008 (Ordinance No. 10 of 2008) is hereby repealed. (2) The repeal of the aforesaid Ordinance shall not— (a) affect the previous operation of the provisions of the said Ordinance or anything duly done or suffered thereunder; or (b) affect any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under the said Ordinance; or (c) affect any fine, penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the provisions of the said Ordinance; or (d) affect any investigation, legal proceedings or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, fine, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid. and any such investigation, legal proceedings or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced and any such fine, penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed, as if the said Ordinance had been in force.
