Section 161: Washing of prisoner and his clothing

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) On admission to prison every prisoner shall be required to wash his person and his clothing thoroughly and washing of female Prisoners and her clothing shall be conducted in the female yard.

(2) If an epidemic disease exists in the neighborhood from which he comes, his clothing shall also be disinfected and in such cases special care shall also be taken to cleanse the prisoner's person.
