Section 162: Search of prisoners on admission

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) Prisoners shall be thoroughly searched by the prison official at the time of admission. Female prisoners shall be searched by female staff in a closed room.

(2) Searches of prisoners shall be made with due regard to decency and with reasonable privacy.
