Section 17: Approval of Budget

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) The Director General of Prisons and Inspector General of Prisons may sanction any item of expenditure provided in the budget, but the approval of the State Government shall be obtained to all special and unusual charges for which distinct provision may not have been made or which are newly entered in the budget.

(2) Subject to the provisions of this rule, an adequate grant shall be placed at the disposal of Inspector General of Prisons to meet expenditure of a special nature.
