Section 24: Power to transfer Prisoners

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) The Head of Directorate of Prisons shall have power for ordering the transfer of prisoners from any jail in Rajasthan to another jail within the state or to a jail in any other state.

(2) He shall have power to sanction the removal of prisoners from the permanent buildings of any jail into temporary quarters during epidemics.
