Section 277: Certain ornaments to be allowed to women prisoner

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) Female prisoners shall be allowed to retain, in moderation, certain ornaments of small value such as mangal-sutras, bangles and toe rings.

(2) The Superintendent may, however, at his discretion, refuse to allow the retention of these ornaments in any particular case for disciplinary or security reasons.
