Any civil prisoner assaulting or insulting another prisoner or a Jail officer, or quarrelling or talking loudly and boisterously, or guilty of indecent or immoral conduct or communicating with outsiders in an unauthorized manner, or bribing or attempting to bribe any jail officer, or gambling or spitting about and soiling the ward, verandah or passage, or disobeying the orders of or showing disrespect to the jail authorities in any way, may be punished.
