Section 5: Application for Settlement

(1) Any person desirous for settlement of a dispute may submit an application in Form-1 to the Chairman or Member- Secretary of the Committee.

(2) The applicationin Form-1 shall he made alongwith itt pruuf uf the payment of application fee amounting to rupees one thousand The amount of application fee shall be depositedin the office of the Development Authority.

(3) The amount deposited as application fee under sub-rule (2) shall not be refundable.

(4) The application in Form-1 shall contain full details and address of the applicant, full facts of thc case and relief sought for. Self attested copies of necessary documents relied upon by the applicant and referred to in the application shall also be enclosed with the application.

(5) All applications received under sub-rule (1) shall be entereJ in a register.

(6) For the cases pending in the court, in vhich the Development Authority is a party, efforts sha'l be made by the Development Authority to settle the matters out of the court. "ui (is purpose the persons should be informed, from time to time by the Development Authority.

(7) The Member-Secretary of the Committee shall, within fifteen days of the receipt cf the application, obtain a factual report of the case along with tile conce-ned from the office of ihe Development Authority. Thereafter the Member-Secretary shail prepare the agenda duly approved by the Chairman on the file and convene the meeting of the Committee on a date fixed by the Chairman.
