(1) The State Government may, by notification, appoint such persons or such class of persons as it thinks fit to be Inspectors for the purposes of this Act within such local limits as it may assign to them respectively. (2) The State Government may hand over the administration of this act, and with it the power to appoint Inspector, to local authorities generally or to any particular local authority
