If the candidate has a Master‟s degree in Engineering/ Technology, First Class or equivalent is required at Bachelor‟s or Master‟s level. or First Class Master‟s Degree in appropriate subject with first class or equivalent at Bachelor‟s or Master‟s level for teaching posts in Humanities &Sciences -- -- -- 5 Librarian 100 by direct recruitment (i) A Master‟s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55 marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library. (ii) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. (iii) However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the “University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree). Regulations, 2009” shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET /SEI -- -- -- 6 PTI 100 by direct recruitment (i) A Master‟s degree in Physical Education or Master‟s Degree in Sports Science with at least 55 marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. (ii) Record of having represented the University/ College at the Inter-University/ Inter-Collegiate competitions or the State and/or National Championships. (iii) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. (iv) Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance 4.6.4 of UGC Regulations, as amended time to time; and (v) However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the “University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/SET. -- -- --
