36. Government's power of review - Notwithstanding anything contained i in this Act, the State Government may, on its own motion or otherwise, after calling for the records of thecase, review the order made by an authority under section 6 or under sub-section (6) of section 7 7,and- and
(a) confirm, modify or set aside the order, .
" (b) remait the case to the authority which has made the order directing such further action as it considers proper, or
(c) pass such orders as it deems fit :
Provided that no final order under this section shall be made unless the aggrieved party is given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause.
