(1) For the conduct of academic programme, the Recognized Centre shall constitute its Academic Committee with the following composition, namely:-
(i) Head of the Recognised Centre — Chairperson;
(ii) two senior faculty members from the Recognised Centre to be nominated by the Head of the Recognised Centre — Members;
(iii) one external academician to be nominated by the Chairperson of the Board of Studies — Member;
(iv) Registrar of the Regional Centre or its nominee — Member;
(v) Academic Coordinator from the Recognised Centre to be nominated by the Head of the Recognised Centre — Member-Secretary.

(2) The term of the nominated member referred to in sub-regulation (1) shall be three years from the date on which he enters upon office and may be renewed and the travel and accommodation expenses, and the sitting fee of the external members referred to in the said sub-regulation, shall be payable by the Recognised Centre.
