Section 234: Authority of Officer of the Watch

Regulations for the Navy Part IIICentral Regulations · 1957

Every officer or other person under the rank of Captain, not being either the Executive Officer or the Commanding Officer of the ship for the time being, shall be subordinate to the Officer of the Watch, whatever may be his rank, in regard to the performance of the duties with which he is charged.
