Section 11: Appeals bom awards in respect ot compensation

Requisitioning and Acquisition of Immovable Property Ordinance, 1952Ordinance · 1952

Any person aggrieved by an award of the arbitrator made under seotion 8 may, within thirty days from the date of suoh award, prefer an appeal to the High Court within whose jurisdiction the requisitioned or acquired property is situate :

Provided that the High Court may entertain the appeal aftor tho expiry of the said period of thirty days, if it is satisfied that the appellant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing the appeal in time.
