(d) if a worker works w thoul being absent dur n9 the period of 6 (six) days consecutively in a week, he / she sha I be given one paid holiday either on Sunday or any other holtdays

(e) Normal working hours of Wort(ers sha be B (eight) hours a day

CHAPTER V INSPECTION AND ENFORCEITIENT

13. {1) The Stale Governmenl may, by notiticali0n in the Oflic al Gazette, appo nt such p0rsoos as it deems Irt lo be lnspeclors lor the purposes oi lhis Act, and define the local timits w thin whrch they sha exe.cise thek powers under this Act.(2) subrecr 1o any rures made in this behari, wrrhin the Ioczr iirniis for which he/sne is appointed, an nspeclor raay,-

(a) il he has reasons to betieve thal any worker is employed in an estab,shment, prernises or place to enter, at all teasonable hoLIS, with such assistants (if any), being persons ln the serutce of the Government or any oca or oiher public authority as he thlnks tit, such premises, establishmenl or p ace for tho purpose ol, - o sarisrying himsel wheiher the provisions oi this Act in reraron ro the regrstration ot workers, condilions of servlce, payrnent ol wages or otherjacilities to be provided to such workers are berng complied w th;

(ii) oxarnine any register or record or notices required lo be kept or exhlbited by the provtsions oj Ihls Act or the rules rnade there under, and requirjng the produciion Ihere Ior inspection;

(iii) examine any person fo!nd rn any such premises, estabrishrnent or prace for the purposes oi deterrnin jng whether such person is worker;

(iv) selze or take copies of such register, record ot wages or notices or parliculars ot wotkers or portions there as he may consideaed televant in Tespect of an ofience under ihis Act which he has reason to beljeve has been committed by principal Enrployer, Emp oyer, Conlraclor or Owner of estab ishmenlsi

2. ln lhe Sikkim Labour Protecilon Act, 2005, the exisling seclion 19 shalL be renumbered as sub'section (1) ol that seciion and alier the sub'seclion (1)as so renumberedthe folowing sub-seclion (2)shaLlbe inse ed namely:
