Section 8: Disruption of signals for preventive maintenance

If signals to a subscriber is required to be disrupted for facilitating preventive maintenance, the multi-system operator or its linked local cable operator as the case may be, shall give a prior notice of at least three days to the subscriber if the disruption of the signals is not likely to exceed twenty four hours and in case the disruption in the supply of signal is likely to continue for a period exceeding twenty four hours, the multi-system operator or its linked local cable operator, as the case may be, shall give prior notice of at least fifteen days to the subscriber.
